Environmental Policy Statement & Management

The Directors of the Company are committed to ensuring that high standards of environmental health and safety are maintained to protect the natural local and global environment.


The Company will take the necessary steps to ensure operations produce the minimum of environmental damage. Environmental considerations are given to process operations, efficient use of energy and effective waste management.


The Company recognises that it has a duty of care for the environment and will take all the necessary steps to ensure compliance with the Environmental Protection Act 1990, Pollution Prevention and Control Regulations and the Hazardous Waste (Amendment) Regulations 2009 and related guidance.


Policies and procedures will be evaluated and reviewed regularly to ensure effectiveness and relevance, maintaining standards of environmental protection that reflect best industry practice and improving on such standards where reasonably practicable.


Waste product / materials will be removed and recycled through the use of licensed competent contractors. Electrical and electronic waste will be disposed of in compliance with The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (Amendment) Regulations 2009.


Employees, sub-contractors and visitors have a duty to co-operate in the operation of this policy by adhering to the arrangements and procedures associated with environmental issues.

It is the duty of the Company to ensure that all employees and Contractors employ the best practical means to prevent harmful emissions into the environment.


It is the duty of licensed Contractors to remove and recycle waste in compliance with the terms of operator license and statutory requirements. Contractor details are retained within the Quality Assurance Approved Supplier Data.


The Directors and management accept overall responsibility of this policy, however, all employees have a duty to cooperate with the employer to ensure compliance with this policy.
